From the “Let’s Keep Paranoia Alive” department, here’s  Fox News Medical A-Team member Dr. David Samadi asserting over the weekend that “crack babies” were caused by women “smoking this whole marijuana business.”  He makes these statements while commenting on a recent study that indicates marijuana is much safer than most drugs.

This doctor is clearly ignorant about the facts surrounding marijuana, and this commentator does a fine job of countering his silly statements with facts.  Unfortunately this is an example of otherwise intelligent people stubbornly clinging to the idea that cannabis is simply too dangerous to use as a medicine – even in the face of scientific studies that clearly prove otherwise.
